An Indian company named Ringing Bells has announced the World's Cheapest SmartPhone priced at Rs. 251. This Android based Smartphone at this price will be available on the company website from 18th Feb 2016 6am till 21st Feb 2016 8pm. It is expected the phones will be delivered by 30th June 2016.

SPECIFICATIONS
  • The phone sports a decent 4 inch qHD IPS screen. A very common screen size for sub 5000 range phones
  • 1.3 GHz Quadcore Processor shall provide speeds good enough for basic use of apps and games. 
  • 1 GB Ram - Though on a lower side but enough for a Rs. 251 phone. 
  • 8 GB Internal Storage (Expandable upto 32 GB). Though expandable upto 32GB, the irony is that your memory card could cost you more than the phone.
  • 3.2mp Primary Camera, 0.3mp Front Camera - Probably bundled with the phone as its just a necessity. The camera shouldn't be a decisive factor for this phone.
  • 1450 mAh Battery - The only way this sized battery can last you a day. But this price point can confuse you whether to buy 2 phones or another powerbank that costs more than the phone.
